What is outdoor adventure counselling/therapy?
Outdoor adventure counselling is a type of therapy that falls under the umbrella term ‘talking therapies’ and allows children, young people and young adults to discuss their problems and any difficult feelings they encounter in a safe and confidential outdoor environment.
Using a person centred and strength based approach to support the client to see and emphasise the positive thinking patterns and circumstances in a person's life, rather than the negatives. It helps determine what works for each person by seeing people for who they are as individuals, not who they are by nature of their diagnosis.
How many sessions will my child need?
Fearless is passionate about providing a service dedicated to supporting clients to achieve their goals and flourish in as short a time as possible. The number of sessions required will be discussed and planned in consultation with the client and/or their family.
What is the cost for a session?
Sessions typically run for an hour to an hour an a half in length. They are charged at $150 an hour.
Depending on location travel costs may also be payable.
